What does 4.6.1 require?

Any new equipment must have a documented purchase specification stating the site's requirements, such as relevant legislation, legal requirements for food contact surfaces and the intended use and materials handled, with multi-disciplinary authorisation where its use warrants it and evidence from the supplier that the equipment meets the requirements before supply.
