BRCGS Global Standard for Food Safety Issue 9 4.16.6: Contracted transport approved by certification or a contract covering the transport requirements

What does 4.16.6 require?

Where contractors carry out dispatch and transport, a written supplier approval procedure based on risk must rely either on valid certification to a BRCGS or GFSI-benchmarked standard or on a contract or terms and conditions that cover at least what 4.16.1 through 4.16.5 require; these are reviewed and verified, and the contractor's performance is monitored.
