BRCGS Global Standard for Food Safety Issue 9 4.15.3: 4.15.3 Temperature-controlled storage held within specification with alarms or four-hourly checks

Where temperature control is required, storage areas must be capable of holding product within specification and operated to do so, with recording equipment and alarms fitted or recorded manual checks typically at least every 4 hours or at a frequency allowing intervention before limits are exceeded.
