BRCGS Global Standard for Food Safety Issue 9 4.10.4.1: Magnets documented with inspection, cleaning, strength and integrity checks

What does 4.10.4.1 require?

The site must document what type of magnets it has, where they are and how strong they are. For magnets that control food safety, including any used to test final product, there must be procedures for inspecting and cleaning them, testing their strength and checking their integrity, and every check must be recorded.
