Principle 4 Mapping interconnections and interdependencies (paragraphs 28 to 30) – BCBS Principles for Operational Resilience (2021)

BCBS Principles for Operational Resilience (2021) P4-28: Map the people, technology, processes, information, facilities and their interconnections and interdependencies needed to deliver each critical operation, including third-party and intragroup dependencies

What does P4-28 require?

Principle 4 expects a bank that has identified its critical operations to map what each one depends on, inside and outside the bank, in line with its resilience approach. The three lines identify and document the people, technology, processes, information and facilities involved, and the connections and dependencies among them, including those that sit with third parties or under group arrangements.
