Where the provider takes responsibility under the Migration Regulations for approving a younger student's accommodation, support and welfare, it must nominate and tell Immigration the dates, ensure every adult involved holds appropriate working with children clearances, verify the accommodation before approval and at least every 6 months, include disrupted welfare in its critical incident process, keep up-to-date contact details for parents and guardians, tell Immigration if care passes to a relative (as soon as practicable) or if it can no longer approve arrangements (within 24 hours), and have documented processes for selecting, screening and monitoring third parties who organise accommodation. It must also notify parents or guardians immediately if it can no longer approve arrangements.
