Australia Therapeutic Goods (Medical Devices) Regulations 2002
Schedule 1 Part 1: general essential principles (clauses 1 to 6) – Australia Therapeutic Goods (Medical Devices) Regulations 2002

Australia Therapeutic Goods (Medical Devices) Regulations 2002 sch1-5: Essential principle 5: design, produce and pack the device so that transport and storage done in line with the manufacturer's instructions do not degrade its characteristics or performance

What does sch1-5 require?

The device must be designed, made and packed so that, when it is transported and stored in line with the manufacturer's instructions and information, its characteristics and performance during intended use are not adversely affected. Transport simulation and storage condition studies are the usual evidence, and the sponsor's own storage and transport duty under regulation 5.9 depends on these instructions being clear.
