A trustee formulates, reviews regularly and gives effect to a risk management strategy covering its own activities bearing on exercising its powers and carrying out its trustee duties, plus whatever risk surfaces from running the entity (s 52(8)(a)); and holds and manages financial resources, as the prudential standards require, whether trustee capital, an entity reserve, or a mix of both, sized to cover the entity's operational risk (s 52(8)(b)).
