A trustee sets, reviews on a recurring basis and follows an investment strategy covering the entity as a whole, plus one for each investment option on offer, having regard to risk and likely return against its objectives and expected cash flow, the diversification of the investments and exposure to concentration risk, their liquidity against expected cash flow, the availability of reliable valuation information, the entity's ability to discharge existing and prospective liabilities, expected tax consequences, costs, and any other relevant matter (s 52(6)(a)); takes care in building, offering and checking back on each investment option (s 52(6)(b)); and makes sure a beneficiary's available choices leave room for adequate diversification (s 52(6)(c)).
