Australia OGTR Guidelines for Certification of a PC2 Plant Facility (Version 3.2) B26: Defective decontamination equipment

What does B26 require?

Decontamination equipment found to be faulty and not yet repaired must be clearly marked as defective and kept out of use for decontaminating GMOs, or waste or equipment linked to GMO dealings until the fault is corrected. The faulty equipment itself must be decontaminated before maintenance or repair. This sits under the Part B heading for dealings with GM micro-organisms, so it applies in addition to the other conditions when any dealing in the facility involves them.
