Australia OGTR Guidelines for Certification of a PC2 Plant Facility (Version 3.2) B25: Users can see the decontamination equipment status

What does B25 require?

Where the holder owns or controls an autoclave or other heat-based equipment intended for decontaminating GMOs, it must make sure anyone about to use it can find out whether its effectiveness monitoring, calibration and other maintenance have been done as the Decontamination Methods in the Regulator's GMO transport, storage and disposal guidelines require. The note says a notice on the equipment showing when monitoring and calibration were last done and their results is one way to comply. This sits under the Part B heading for dealings with GM micro-organisms, so it applies in addition to the other conditions when any dealing in the facility involves them.
