Australia OGTR Guidelines for Certification of a PC2 Large Grazing Animal Facility (Version 1.1) C8: When GM animals may leave the facility

What does C8 require?

GM animals may be taken out of the facility only if (a) they are going to a suitable containment facility that the Regulator has certified, as a PC2 facility for large grazing animals or, for any other facility type, to PC2 or higher; (b) they are going for euthanasia and disposal; (c) the Regulator has given written permission to move them to another place within Australia; or (d) any permits needed have been obtained and they are going to the Australian border for export.
