Australia OGTR Guidelines for Certification of a PC2 Invertebrate Facility (Version 3.1) C21: Hand decontamination on leaving

What does C21 require?

Anyone who has worked with GM micro-organisms, or whose hands have touched any life-cycle stage of GMOs that could survive on skin after leaving, must decontaminate their hands before they go. The guideline notes soap and water may be enough where appropriate, that basins with hand-turned taps are unacceptable, and that soap and decontaminants should come from hands-free dispensers.
