Australia OGTR Guidelines for Certification of a PC2 Invertebrate Facility (Version 3.1) A10: Hand decontamination

What does A10 require?

If proposed dealings will involve GM micro-organisms, or hands will touch any life-cycle stage of GMOs that could survive on the hands, the facility needs either its own wash-basin with taps that work without being touched by hand, or another way to decontaminate hands. The guideline explains that hand-turned taps on a basin are not acceptable because they can spread contamination, and that dispensers of decontaminant solution are a suitable alternative.
