Australia OGTR Guidelines for Certification of a PC2 Aquatic Facility (Version 3.1) C8: Protective clothing and gloves

What does C8 require?

Where work there uses GM micro-organisms, or GMOs able to persist on people or clothing, those doing dealings in the facility must wear (a) protective clothing that protects the arms and body, and (b) disposable gloves for dealings with GM micro-organisms, viral vectors included where their parent organism meets the AS/NZS 2243.3 criteria for Risk Group 2. The guideline suggests considering suitable eye protection as well.
