Australia OGTR Guidelines for Certification of a PC2 Aquatic Facility (Version 3.1) C13: Decontaminate before disposal

What does C13 require?

GMOs, non-GMO material containing GMOs and any GMO-containing waste must be decontaminated before disposal, unless the disposal method itself decontaminates them. The guideline notes that, where it suits, looking at the container can confirm whether decontamination is needed (for example with macroscopic GMOs that can be seen with the naked eye).
