Australia OGTR Guidelines for Certification of a PC2 Aquatic Facility (Version 3.1) C18: Hand decontamination on leaving

What does C18 require?

Anyone who has done procedures with GM micro-organisms there, or whose hands have touched GMOs that could survive on hands after leaving, must decontaminate their hands before they go. The guideline notes soap and water may be enough where suitable, that basins with hand-operated taps are unacceptable because they readily spread contamination, and that soap and other decontaminants should come from hands-free dispensers.
