Australia OGTR Guidelines for Certification of a PC2 Animal Facility (Version 3.2) C27: Decontaminating benches and equipment after work

What does C27 require?

Applies only where dealings involve GM micro-organisms (and must be covered in behavioural training). When the dealings are completed, work benches and surfaces where procedures with GM micro-organisms took place must be decontaminated, as must equipment used directly in those procedures. The general decontamination requirements (C9 to C12) also apply to GM micro-organisms.
