Australia National Vocational Education and Training Regulator Act 2011 s61-131: ss 61 and 131 Do not hold out a cancelled or bogus VET qualification

A person does not purport to hold a VET qualification or statement of attainment that has been cancelled (s 61, civil penalty 240 penalty units), and a natural person does not purport to hold, as a VET qualification or statement of attainment, one they know or could reasonably be expected to know is not genuine (s 131, 240 penalty units). Employers and licensing bodies use the USI transcript and the National Register to verify credentials.
