Failure or uncontrolled discharge from sanitary drainage must be avoided, and damage must be avoided to the drainage from superimposed loads, ground movement and root penetration, to the Network Utility Operator's sewerage or any approved disposal system, and to siteworks or existing buildings from the drainage. Explanatory information points to soil classification for ground movement, landscape features for root penetration, and pre-treatment where waste could damage the system. New South Wales replaces C2P7 and C2D4 with its own text.
