Points of discharge of a rainwater service must have a working pressure of at least 50 kPa and a static pressure within the building of no more than 500 kPa, or pressures suited to the fixture or appliance, and velocity in rainwater pipework must not exceed 3 metres per second for at least 99 per cent of the peak hour. Deemed-to-Satisfy B6D2 is Section 15 of AS/NZS 3500.1.
