Australia Indigenous Procurement Policy (May 2026) 5: Portfolio reporting obligations: upload to the IPPRS at least twice a year AusTender contracts awarded to enterprises not registered with Supply Nation or ORIC, all other contracts and purchases not reportable on AusTender, and all subcontracts not reported by suppliers; report remote procurements every six months; for each MMR contract enter the target details, reporting days, start date, supplier contacts, the contract manager's acknowledgement of each quarterly report and comments on the final report

What does 5 require?

Portfolios (who may devolve the work to the relevant Commonwealth entities) are responsible for uploading to the IPPRS, at least bi-annually and at any time they choose, AusTender contracts awarded to Indigenous enterprises not registered on Supply Nation or ORIC, all other procurement contracts or purchases not reportable on AusTender, and all subcontracts not reported by suppliers through the IPPRS; the system itself counts AusTender contracts to registered enterprises daily. They must report procurements in remote Australia at least every six months. For each MMR contract they must enter the targets, the days allowed for quarterly performance reports, the reporting start date, the supplier's contact details, acknowledgement that the contract manager has reviewed each quarterly performance report, and comments against the final performance report. Portfolios may also require suppliers to report non-MMR Indigenous supplier use.
