Section 4 is the machinery that makes Schedule 1 operate. It says that each instrument specified in a Schedule is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items, and that any other item in a Schedule has effect according to its terms. The instrument has one Schedule, which amends the 2017 Principles. The Schedule is divided into Part 1, commencing 13 July 2026, and Part 2, commencing 1 July 2027. The items in Part 1 change the approval provisions and two entries in the Schedule 1 table. The item in Part 2 changes one entry in that table.
