What does gicop-p8-88-90-catastrophes require?

The insurer responds to Catastrophes efficiently, professionally, practically and compassionately and cooperates with the Insurance Council of Australia under the industry Catastrophe coordination and communication arrangements. A customer whose property claim resulting from a Catastrophe was finalised within 1 month after the event may ask for a review if they think the assessment of the loss was incomplete or inaccurate, even after signing a release; the insurer gives 12 months from finalisation to request the review and tells the customer in writing of this entitlement and the complaints process when finalising the claim.
