Australia Food Standards Code Standard 1.2.7 Nutrition, Health and Related Claims 1.2.7-4(1): Make no nutrition content or health claims about kava, infant formula or most alcoholic drinks

No nutrition content claim and no health claim may be made for kava or for an infant formula product. For food above 1.15 per cent alcohol by volume, the only claims allowed are nutrition content claims about salt or sodium (non-beverages), carbohydrate, energy, gluten or sugar content are allowed, and the Code separately bars claims on cannabidiol in hemp food.
