Australia Disability Standards for Education 2005 s8.3-2: s 8.3(2) Inform staff and students of the obligations, the action to take and complaint mechanisms

The provider takes reasonable steps to make sure staff and students know of the obligation not to harass or victimise students with disabilities or students with associates with disabilities, the action to take if it happens, and the complaint mechanisms available. Measures include regular reminders of rights and responsibilities and professional development so staff know the policies and can detect and deal with harassment (s 8.5(d), (e)).
