Lampholders are located and protected against damage and contact; recessed luminaires carry installation classifications (non-IC, do-not-cover, CA90 and the IC types, among others) under AS/NZS 60598.2.2 Appendix ZZ and are installed per the classification and maker's instructions (Australian homes may use only the do-not-cover, CA90 and IC or IC-4 types), with hot auxiliary equipment above insulation and a permanent warning sign at roof space access unless all are IC or IC-4.
