APES 315 Compilation of Financial Information 11.3: Non-compliance with laws and regulations, fraud and illegal acts

What does 11.3 require?

A Member who becomes aware of actual or suspected non-compliance with laws or regulations during a compilation follows Section 360 of APES 110. Information suggesting fraud, a misstatement or an illegal act is passed to those charged with governance as soon as practicable. Where the Member has reason to believe those charged with governance caused the act, the Member applies the firm's APES 320 continuance policies to decide whether to keep acting for the client.
