Cleaning uses neutral detergent, water and scrubbing to remove microorganisms; disinfection uses a chemical that rapidly kills most organisms and works only where organic material is absent. Where an infection needing transmission-based precautions is suspected or known, surfaces are cleaned with detergent and a listed hospital-grade disinfectant with specific claims, or sodium hypochlorite where indicated.
The graph holds this control, the 0 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
