A non-government provider in the nursing and transition care or residential care categories must, at least every 12 months, offer individuals and their supporters in writing the opportunity to establish one or more consumer advisory bodies to give the governing body feedback on service quality (Rules 158-20); where one is established, the governing body must consider its feedback in quality decisions and tell it in writing how it did so. Copies of offers and dates, minutes, feedback and the written advice are kept for seven years (154-805).
