Data security assurance applies technical, organisational and legal measures: policies and procedures, standards and technical regulations, state and civil cryptography, strict control of personnel directly processing data, periodic inspection and risk assessment, and inspection and assessment of cross-border data transfers and of security conditions in critical systems, databases, data centres and storage systems; the Government details the responsibilities.
