US Interagency Sound Practices to Strengthen Operational Resilience
Section 3 Business continuity management (practices a to i) – US Interagency Sound Practices to Strengthen Operational Resilience

US Interagency Sound Practices to Strengthen Operational Resilience 3b: Periodic review of the business continuity plan so contingency strategies match current operations, risks, tolerance and recovery priorities, aligned with payment, clearing and settlement guidance where applicable

What does 3b require?

The continuity plan is re-examined periodically so that its contingency strategies still fit today's operations, risks and threats, the tolerance for disruption and the firm's recovery priorities. Firms that run payment, clearing or settlement activity in critical financial markets keep those strategies in step with the 2003 interagency guidance on resilience of those activities (SR 03-9, OCC Bulletin 2003-14).
