Leaders at every level of organisations developing or using AI ensure staff maintain appropriate competencies. Every role involved in developing or using AI is analysed for competency requirements; training and supervision are provided until sufficient competence is acquired; and where in-house competence is insufficient, outside help is brought in to supervise MOD staff and build the MOD's own competence.
