From 6 April 2025 the Gambling Levy Regulations 2025 (SI 2025/213) require licensed operators to pay a statutory levy, collected by the Commission, calculated on their actual incomings and outgoings in each levy period, with payment due by 1 October each year; funds go to research, prevention and treatment of gambling harm.
