A company must keep available for inspection a copy of every director's service contract with the company or a subsidiary (or a written memorandum of the terms where not in writing), at the registered office or a notified inspection place, for at least one year after termination; every member may inspect without charge and request a copy for the prescribed fee; and the registrar must be notified of where the copies are kept (sections 228 to 229, with shadow directors covered by section 230).
