UK AI Regulation Framework R2: Regulators: collaborate and issue joint guidance

What does R2 require?

Regulators are encouraged to coordinate, produce clear and consistent guidance for businesses spanning several remits and joint guidance where use cases cross remits (examples include the Digital Regulation Cooperation Forum of Ofcom, ICO, FCA and CMA with its AI and Digital Hub, and the health AI and Digital Regulations Service), use technical standards and assurance techniques to support compliance, and work with government's central function; the guidance plans later phases on joint tools across remits.
