DHS disseminates terrorism threat information through NTAS Bulletins and Alerts. TSA maintains a Sensitive Security Information supplement to the Guidelines with recommended measures for periods of heightened threat, available by email request to pipelinesecurity@dhs.gov; operators implement the pertinent threat-level protective measures when a Bulletin or Alert is received (Section 2) and periodically review facility staffing needed for the additional measures (Appendix A, citing the supplement).
