Tonga Privacy Act 2025 s42: s.42 Give data subjects confirmation, a copy, correction and deletion free of charge

On request, without unreasonable delay and at no expense, a controller must confirm whether it or its processors hold the data subject's personal information and its source, give a copy in a commonly used electronic format (costs may be passed on only if unreasonable), correct inaccurate, out of date, incomplete or misleading data (or delete it where correction is unsuitable), and delete data it is not entitled to keep.
