In complying with the standards, an entity provides an environment in which children identifying as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander have their right to cultural safety respected (s 15). The Regulator oversees and enforces the universal principle alongside the standards and may issue a notice to comply with it (ss 16, 21).
