If IMY has not decided within three months of receiving a complaint whether to open supervision, it must on the data subject's written request say whether it will, or else reject the request by a separate decision, within two weeks (otherwise the request counts as rejected); a new request may be made three months later. The rejection can be appealed to the administrative court, which on upholding the appeal orders IMY to give the answer as soon as possible.
