The FI decides for itself what a fair outcome means (the MAS FEAT principles are one reference point) and runs controls that detect and reduce harmful bias and discriminatory results throughout the AI life cycle, tuned to the context and materiality of each use case; AI that can open or shut access to financial products, as in credit decisions or insurance underwriting, deserves the closest attention. Where fairness is in play, the FI carries out a fairness assessment: naming the relevant protected attributes together with the variables that stand in for or correlate strongly with them, measuring with suitable fairness metrics whether the AI systematically disadvantages particular groups, and recording the findings and any steps taken in response.
The graph holds this control, the 0 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
