Security of Critical Infrastructure Act 2018 (SOCI) s35BB: Assist ASD acting on an intervention request

Where an intervention request authorised by the Minister (with the Prime Minister's and Defence Minister's agreement) for a cyber security incident is in force, an approved ASD staff member may require a relevant entity to provide access to premises (not residences) and specified information or assistance reasonably necessary; the entity must comply. Constables may assist with reasonable force against property; ASD must remove added devices and return removed computers when no longer needed. Good-faith compliance is protected from damages claims.
