Saudi NCA National Cryptographic Standards (NCS-1:2020) 4.6: Mobile networks: the 128-bit UMTS, LTE and 5G algorithm sets, with EIA0/NIA0 only for emergency calls

What does 4.6 require?

The required algorithm sets are 128-UEA1 with 128-UIA1 on UMTS, 128-EEA2 with 128-EIA2 on LTE, and 128-NEA2 with 128-NIA2 on 5G; the null integrity algorithms EIA0 and NIA0 are allowed only where an emergency call is made unauthenticated from limited service mode. Only the primitives and schemes of sections 2 and 3 may be used, except that KASUMI and both ECIES profiles with their curves are accepted solely within 3GPP systems.
