Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI) - Responsible Minerals Assurance Process A-1C-INTER: All Minerals Step 1C: intermediate materials, returned metal and downstream receipts

For intermediates from supplying processors and for unused metal products, the company must record the material description, immediate supplier, producing processor, transport documents for high-risk chains (unless already covered by that processor's audit) and confirmation that the processor passed an RMAP or equivalent assessment, or otherwise the processor's inputs with red flag information (all inputs if they cannot be separated); for material from downstream companies, confirmation of a Downstream Assessment Program or equivalent assessment, or the producing processor and input information.
