Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) - E-Commerce Chapter 12.5: Article 12.5: Paperless trading

Each Party must work towards initiatives for paperless trading, taking into account methods agreed by international organisations including the World Customs Organization (Cambodia, Lao PDR and Myanmar were not obliged to apply this for five years after entry into force); endeavour to accept trade administration documents submitted electronically as the legal equivalent of the paper version; and endeavour to make trade administration documents publicly available in electronic form. The Parties must cooperate in international fora to enhance acceptance of electronic trade administration documents.
