Queensland Valuers Registration Act 1992 63: Practice of unregistered valuers prohibited

What does 63 require?

A person who is not a registered valuer must not hold out as a registered valuer, carry on or attempt to carry on the business of a registered valuer, or use a name, title, description or symbol capable of being understood to indicate registration (maximum penalty as the section provides), subject to the exceptions for valuations under a Commonwealth or State Act and for employees acting under the supervision of a registered valuer as sections 63(2) and (3) allow. Section 65 makes a Board certificate evidence of registration.
