Queensland Body Corporate and Community Management Act 1997 s152-SM-s180: s 152 and Standard Module s 180 Duty to manage and maintain common property

The body corporate must administer, manage and control common property and body corporate assets reasonably and for the benefit of lot owners, and must maintain common property in good condition and, where structural, in a structurally sound condition. For building format schemes it must also maintain in good condition boundary railings, parapets and balustrades, boundary doors and windows and roofing membranes, and keep foundations and roofing structures structurally sound.
