8 Psychologists' behaviour – Psychology Board of Australia Code of Conduct for Psychologists (2025)

Psychology Board of Australia Code of Conduct for Psychologists (2025) 8.1: 8.1 Reporting obligations

The National Law requires psychologists to notify the Board or Ahpra of certain matters (sections 130 and 141 are cited), for example any restriction an employer places on the services they may provide. Ethical and honest practice means the psychologist: (a) knows these reporting duties; (b) complies with those that apply; and (c) seeks advice from the Board, their indemnity insurer or another relevant body when unsure.
