Requirement 0080 (Part Three: Information, section 12.3 Information Sharing; applies to All entities; dated 01 July 2025; retained from Release 2025): Australian Government security classified information or resources bearing the Australian Eyes Only (AUSTEO) caveat is never shared with a person who is not an Australian citizen, even when an international agreement or international arrangement is in place, unless an exemption is granted. The Accountable Authority may exempt a non-Australian appointee only if Home Affairs is advised before the Cabinet decision, AUSTEO producers are consulted, and the person is a Government appointee needing access, a Five-Eyes citizen, appropriately cleared and bound by a non-disclosure agreement.
