Principles for Doing Business at Lloyd's P2.8: 2.8 A risk-based framework for managing changes to the catastrophe view of risk

Changes to the catastrophe view of risk and exposure management methodologies follow a risk-based framework. Baseline: such change is managed through the general internal model change process. Higher levels add specific catastrophe change processes feeding into it, communication of changes, timelines and effects before release, documented impacts discussed with underwriters and management, and a holistic view of the impact on all affected areas before decisions.
